Kota Kinabalu beach - how to get

Inside the city itself there are no beaches. For 0,31 USD = 1.5 MYR per one-way (bus 16a, departure from WAWASAN Bus terminal) you can visit the Tanjung Aru Beach. The trip takes about 30 minutes one way. Location: 5.94787, 116.04547. From the second terminal of the airport the beach can be reached on foot.

What to visit on foot

Signal Hill Trail is located in the city. You can make a short trip through the remnants of the jungle of the city, to the nice observation deck, where you can see the city. Free.
